Each year an organization, generally a nonprofit, is chosen by the Conference Committee to benefit from the generosity of the Conference attendees.
Stuffed Animals for Emergencies (SAFE) is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comfort to children experiencing traumatic or emotional situations. SAFE collects donations of new and gently used stuffed animals, ensures they are clean and in good condition, and distributes them directly to children through partnerships with children’s hospitals, local law enforcement agencies, and other emergency response organizations.
