All FRPA Virtual Education Sessions are live and encourage you to stay engaged so that discussion can take place during and after the presentation. Each session has been scheduled for the time of the presentation but please keep in mind that we will have around seven to ten minutes of introductory announcements and possibly words from our sponsor during the session. These may cause the session to run over the allotted time by 10-15 minutes.
Please make sure your first and last name appear as your profile name so that the moderator will know to let you into the meeting. If are not able to make this change, it is your responsibility to inform FRPA what device name you will be signing in under.Technical Information
FRPA Virtual Education Sessions utilize the Zoom online meetings platform. To participate, you must be at least able to view the screen and hear the speaker. CEU sign in records are kept by you signing into the chat box at the beginning of the session. Alternative ways to record this will be given on each call. It will be the participant's responsibility to ensure they can use this platform and that their computer is up to date with the most recent version of Zoom. You can test this before meetings by joining the meeting through the link provided in your confirmation email. Zoom will let you know whether you need to update or not. It is not necessary to download the program to your computer, you can use a desktop version but please keep in mind that not all the controls are available on the desktop version.
If there is an interruption during any scheduled session, FRPA will send out a link to rejoin the session immediately. Should there be more than a ten minute delay, FRPA reserves the right to reschedule any part or all of the session. Recordings, if available, will be allowed for access up to two weeks following the live event.Participation Expectations
