Programming
Hi I'm Mike Lockwood your 2005-2006 program chair. I would like to welcome our new FRPA members and encourage our experienced members to stay active and involved. I have been involved with FRPA for five years, it has given me the opportunities to grow professional by attending educational sessions, and networking with highly qualified individuals. The programming section is very unique in its own right b/c it involves so many different professionals, that have so many different areas of interest. I urge everybody to get involved at either a regional or state level. I look forward in serving you as your programming chair and I challenge you to make this organization stronger then ever. I am ready to ride the bus...are you!
The Programming Section is designed for parks and recreation professionals in the areas of aquatics, arts and events, athletics, community centers, cultural / ethnic events, parks, fitness and wellness, collaborative agreement management, therapeutic recreation, partnership promotions, volunteer management, community relations, tutoring or adult education services, special events, festivals and parades, child care, senior, nature or environmental services, tourism, social service programs, grants, public education (CPR, first aid), or fund raising.
