FRPA is nationally recognized in the Park and Recreation profession for its strong diversity to quality members and as the Vice President of Member Resources, I look forward to providing more professional services that our members desire.

Members are the lifeblood of the organization and it is important that a strong membership base is maintained. In order to preserve our membership base, it will require a continued effort to analyze what our colleagues want and need. Several proposed projects are on the horizon during my tenure, which I hope will increase new membership with FRPA as well as enhance current members experience and involvement with the organization at all levels.

I look forward to the challenge and encourage all members to provide ideas on how to improve our member's desires.

Purpose
The focus of the Member Resources branch of FRPA is providing helpful resources to Association members and maintaining a strong base or members. This is accomplished through the following activities: marketing FRPA membership to those in the field of parks, recreation or leisure services and to those interested in the profession, constant evaluation of member services and the recommendation of new services, and recognizing innovative professionals and programs through the FRPA Awards program.
